iPipeline Expands Product Coverage with Partnership’s Equity Release Product

iPipeline® -- a leading provider of electronic quote and application services to the UK life and pensions market -- today announced that Partnership’s Equity Release product is now available on Assureweb Portal.

The Partnership Enhanced Lifetime Mortgage is a special type of lifetime mortgage designed for people in or near retirement who are living with health or lifestyle conditions. Like any other lifetime mortgage, it allows them to release money from their home and use it however they wish: to travel, to maintain their standard of living or to enhance or adapt their home to their changing needs.  This product does not charge valuation, application or completion fees.

Commenting on the latest addition to the service, Paul Thornton, Sales Director, said "Adding Partnership’s Equity Release product to the Assureweb Portal makes the Mercury platform more attractive to advisers. Our Equity Release service is a critical part of our Retirement Planning offering, providing advisers with a further advice opportunity to discuss with clients. The grey retirement market is growing rapidly, demonstrated in July by iPipeline experiencing the highest volume of Equity Release quote requests in over two years. Business volumes for Annuities in August are also looking very robust.”

Ged Hosty, Managing Director of Equity Release at Partnership, comments:

“We are delighted to be working with iPipeline® to provide advisers with better access to our Enhanced Lifetime Mortgage via the Assureweb Portal.  This product is not only ideal for those people with medical or lifestyle conditions who wish to take out equity release but also those who may already have a plan and wish to remortgage.  By offering advisers easier access to these types of products, we hope that more intermediaries will recognize the benefits of speaking to their clients about equity release.”

To expand their retirement planning offering, iPipeline launched an electronic common quotation form on Assureweb Portal earlier this year, allowing advisers to deliver enhanced annuity quotes in seconds. Additional enhancements to the Annuity service are scheduled for later this year. iPipeline is also offering a range of next-generation solutions from their US parent, including XRAE® (Health Class Estimator), iGO e-App®, PolicyEX® (e-Policy delivery), Direct-to-Consumer solutions, and PolicyHS® (policy holder services solution). iGO e-App promises to revolutionise the Annuities industry through the use of intelligent, rules-based electronic applications.

Advisers can register for iPipeline’s free portal Assureweb online at www.assureweb.co.uk/register-now.aspx.  To learn how you can implement iPipeline’s solutions to support the marketing, selling and processing of life and pensions products, contact sales@ipipelineUK.com or call 0845 408 4022.
